I think the beauty of this image per se is enough to went to acquire it, yet the artist who created it is facing us with an apparent puzzle: The Title: “Separated by Oceans” is in

So it must mean that it is symbolic of the will, the spirit of one of them or both, to conquer their differences, to “get together” in ways not obvious to others. I think that except for extreme cases when rapprochement is not feasible, there is a way to bridge the gap so that the physical distance within two lives is abolished by each of them “hearing the other” on a common healing wave-length of their own.

And perhaps it is never too late to do so, even when the visible side of it is no longer present, yet easier on the one left behind when fences get mended before that separation. This is a poignant image I hope will mean something special enough to you to add it to your pictorial memories.

As someone with an "Alpine mind," a tree- and forest-lover, I still get memory glimpses of those promenades in the woods, feeling the coolness of that very environment with that old indefatigable walker, that nature man and his daughter. As for the age difference suggested by the picture itself, yes, he was very much the age of a grandfather.

The title given to this art makes me think of a quote I like:

​'The ultimate bond between the very Young and the Old is the lack of pretense: The Young have yet to learn the rules of the Game of Life; the Old no longer feel obligated to abide by them. "

Nurture the thought and enjoy the memories or the dreams that may come your way should you choose to get this beautiful picture.

I like the colors, the setting of this creation and I am a dog-lover.

Kids and large animals and perhaps especially dogs when the attraction is reciprocal: I wonder if it is because we have forgotten that from birth until we "caught up" in size with the adults in our lives, we were basically used to living in a "Land of Giants" and handled it quite well? So here, little elfin girl you may have found a friendly *accomplice" in a land of giants bigger than both of you.

Large dogs or other animals: Perhaps you are showing us that the power associated with size can be navigated, keeping its strength for needed protection while fine-tuning it down to delicate gentleness for those who matter.

"Starry Starry Night." One doesn't have to be Don McLean or Van Gogh for that thought! I do ask Scotty to beam me up on and off these days! I love the skies and good Sci-Fi, with a tinge of regret of being too old to ever be on a real starfleet mission.

That picture also makes me think of the movie "What Dreams May Come" mostly for the very much applauded scenery of the film rather the plot--despite Robin Williams's presence [RIP]
